The diversity - four Orthodox churches in Sarajevo, a lot of mosques, synagogues and Catholic churches, Franciscan friaries.... Diversity is in the air. Sarajevo still bears the traces of the war. Scares on the buildings, some modern ones... but the city is totally gloomy. It has overwhelmed me with the different, ambivalent emotions. We stayed at our Bosnian friend's parents which were feeding us aggressively (:-) something Georgian again) with Bureks.
I could not stop the tears flow in the museum where the war exhibition was. Not only because of the sympathy and because I could feel what my Bosnian friend has experienced, but 'cause I saw and felt the real traces of war which I had already forgotten. It was painful. It is painful.

It's interesting to see just how pervasive memory has become in our lives. It's like everywhere I turn, I see something with a card slot or USB port, haha. I guess it makes sense though, considering how inexpensive memory has become as of late...
Gahhhh, I shouldn't be moaning and groaning. I can't make it through a single day without my R4 / R4i!
